📌قامت البعثة المصرية الفرنسية بالإعلان عن كشف اثري هام بمنطقة كوم ناجوس بالقرب من مدينة الإسكندرية يرجع لعهد اخناتون
📌 وهو عباره عن أطلال لمدينة اثرية مثلت موقعاً دينياً واقتصادياً هاماً يرجع تاريخها للحقبة الزمنية مابين عامي 1550 و 1292 ق.م
📌وقد عثر بها علي أوانى فخارية وأباريق خزفيه استخدمت في حفظ النبيذ والتي وجدت إلى إنقاذ مباني ربما كانت مصانع أو مخازن لحفظ النبيذ للاستخدام أو التصدير
📌كما وصلوا على قواعد إنشائية ضخمة ربما كانت جزء معبد كبير وما يثير الدهشة أنه تم العثور على اسم *مريت أتون * ابنة الملك اخناتون وشقيقة الملك توت عنخ آمون علي العديد من البقايا الحجريّة وربما كان ذلك الاسم التجاري للمدينة كمصدر أساسي لإنتاج وتصدير النبيذ
📌وقد عثر أيضا علي بقايا حجرية سجل عليها اسم الملك رمسيس الثاني داخل خرطوش ملكي والي جواره يصور الإله حورس
📌وتشير الدلائل أن هذه المدينة ظللت مستخدمة حتى
العصرين الهيلينيستي والروماني.

Discovery of an Ancient City of Akhenaten Near Alexandria
The Egyptian-French mission has announced an important archaeological discovery dating back to the reign of Akhenaten. The find consists of the ruins of an ancient city that served as a significant religious and economic site, dating from approximately 1550 to 1292 BCE.
Among the discoveries were pottery and ceramic jugs used for storing wine. These were found alongside buildings that may have been factories or storage facilities used to preserve wine for local use or export.
The team also uncovered massive structural foundations, possibly the remains of a large temple. Remarkably, the name Meritaten—the daughter of King Akhenaten and sister of King Tutankhamun—was found inscribed on several stone fragments. This may have been the city’s trade name, identifying it as a key center for the production and export of wine.
Additionally, stone remains bearing the cartouche of King Ramses II were found, alongside an image depicting the god Horus.
Evidence suggests that the city continued to be inhabited during the Hellenistic and Roman periods.
